Welcome to internet presentation of the Artistic Association "Nikola Tesla" from Belgrade.
The Association was founded in 1926 at the City Traffic Company of Belgrade.
The management of the company and the dancers wrote a letter to the famous scientist Nikola Tesla (Serb by origin) to let the Association has his name.
From the USA came the affirmative answer and the symbol of the Association: a lyre surrounded with the laurel and the arrow across the lyre (symbol of the electricity)...
For the tenth anniversary of the Association the scientist Tesla sent a flag as his gift and it is preserved in the museum of the City Traffic Company of Belgrade.
The Artistic Association "Nikola Tesla" from Belgrade has gained many of prizes in the country and abroad.
The Association consists of 6 sections with more than 450 members.
